Food
Working coincide with DIF (Desarrollo Integral de la Familia) known as The National System for Integral Family Development; who deliver food to over 80 disabled families and elderly Monday through Friday, with our organization taking on these members and more to deliver healthy nourishing meals Saturday and Sunday. We strive to be mindful of the planet by distributing vegetarian meals packed full of other sources of proteins, carbs, and vegetables alongside our filtered water.
Distribution
Our organization is ecstatic to provide over 110 meals each Saturday and Sunday consistently since November of 2025. We use reusable food containers that each of our families have meticulously taken care of over the time of our distribution. It has allowed for us to reduce the cost of each plate, as well as reduce the waste on the planet. Each reusable plate costs 40 cents, that we have consistently been washing and sanitizing to reuse for our members in the last nine months. For our more vulnerable members we then use a to-go container, as those members do not have a sink, utensils, or access to any running water.
Our Vegetables
Guardianas is proud to announce we use our freshly grown vegetables in our food distribution. We currently have stationed over 10 containers around Naco filled with, onion, carrots, lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, radish, garlic, and more.
