Water
Consuming contaminated water significantly affects children aged 1-12. . Specifically, causing short term effects of diarrhea, vomiting, stomach cramps, fever. Overall, the long-term mental effects mainly involve reduced cognitive development, learning challenges, and behavioral problems, especially when exposure happens repeatedly during early childhood. Using clean, filtered, or treated water helps reduce these risks.
Our Water System
The US Water Systems Pulsar Max Ultraviolet Disinfection System works by combining filtration and ultraviolet (UV) light to disinfect water. First, the water passes through several filters that remove sediment, particles, and some contaminants. Then the water enters a stainless-steel chamber where a UV lamp emits UV-C light, which penetrates microorganisms and damages their genetic material so they cannot reproduce or cause infection. This process effectively inactivates bacteria, viruses, and parasites such as E. coli, Giardia, and Cryptosporidium, producing safer drinking water without using chemicals.

Each one of these systems can distribute up to 20 GPM (gallons per minute), a standard house ranging from 6-12 GPM. One of these systems costing $1,995.00 but having impacts lasting a lifetime.
Water Access Points
We are proud to announce there are three schools in Naco, Sonora with water filtration systems. These three schools include a Kindergarten, Elementary, and High school. The three schools of Naco include a water fountain and a drinking water safe hose allowing for easy access to fill up our community members water jugs for no charge.
Delivery
Each week our most vulnerable members in the community receive a seven-gallon jug to use throughout the week. We suggest using it for drinking, cleaning vegetables, brushing your teeth, and any other ways that you may consume filtered water. Each jug costs $16.40 which we have cleaned and maintained for the last nine months. All together, we have distributed over 30 jugs into our community using the filtration systems installed into each of the three schools in the community.
